As we know that if we install more than one operating system on our computer it might slow down our PC and then if we wish to remove it from our PC, we were unable to because if we delete the partition in which we have installed that operating system. The name of the operating system remains in boot menu and master boot record.

But now there is no need to worry since the software developers have made a solution for it. The art of software which allows the user to run a virtual operating system with host virtual machine is called virtualization.

But now another question arises, which is the best developed application or program for virtualization ? In this post I will tell it but first we need to understand what is virtualization?

Virtualization is a technique by which one can access an operating system by a host operating system as real one.

According to me VMware provides the best virtualization platform. It has many pros against various other virtualization products. Some of them are listed below :

  • Provides regular updates timely and for free.
  • Available in both free and paid.
  • Latest version supports 16 virtual CPUs, 8 TB hard disk, 20 virtual networks, Virtual SATA contoller, SSD , USB 3.0 stream support etc.
  • Available for both Linux and Windows.

You can also try VMware Workstation (Paid) or just use VMware Player (Free).
