Samsung Electronics Co., the well-known electronic brand worldwide is ready to add one more feather on its cap. This renowned brand who has captured the Indian market is likely to bring forward its new launch of a key premium smartphone model.

According to a person who has information about this matter but does not want his identity to be disclosed has revealed to Reuters on Friday that the South Korean tech giant, Samsung has found the strategies to revive sales after a sluggish second quarter. It is suspected that world’s top smartphone maker will be launching its latest version of the Galaxy Note phablet in the mid of August.

With the element of secrecy, the information is likely to be true because the predeceasing versions, such as the Galaxy Note 3 and Galaxy Note 4, were also brought into the market in September.

However, the Samsung spokeswoman has been constantly declining to comment over this issue and news.

Therefore, there is every likelihood that in the middle of August, Samsung is launching the new Note smartphone model in the market in order to compete with its arch-rival Apple Inc. It is suspected that this new version of Samsung’s galaxy note can compete against the upcoming iPhones.

Similar to the predecessor Galaxy S6, Samsung Galaxy Note 5 is highlighting the latest Exynos chip made by the brand’s 14nm process under the flagship phablet instead of the Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 SoC like others. This new Galaxy Note 5 will sport a 0.6mm slimmer body than its predecessor, the Galaxy Note 4, with a width of 7.9mm. According to the Korean media, this smartphone will be featuring a 5.89-inch display, which is to be operated by the company’s own S Pen stylus. It will be also be featuring a large 4100mAh battery.

The Apple Inc. of U.S. is also prepared for producing its largest but initial run for new phones which would be coming up by the end of this year, this was released by Wall Street Journal earlier this week.

Samsung has also seeked to rebuild after a disappointing year of 2014, wherein unfortunately its annual profit was lowered due to a drastic decrease in the smartphone sales. Though the earnings of Samsung are suffering a profit, its second-quarter guidance of a KRW 6.9 trillion (roughly Rs. 38,725 crores) is subjected to operate profit lesser than the market expectations followed by a supply shortage for the curved-screen version of its flagship Galaxy S6 Edge smartphone.

According to the HDC Asset Management fund manager Park Jung-hoon, he is not aware of how much the new strategically launch would be helpful in boosting the company’s average selling price for smartphones but he is sure of the suggestion through the previous launch as per which Samsung is in intense need of constantly hard-working staff members if they intended to maintain its market share for the high-end market.
